Accounts Administration Assistant

Location: Leeds City Centre
Salary: circa. £16,000
Job Type: Permanent (Apprenticeship option)

Position:

Based at Head Office in Leeds City Centre, the Accounts Administration Assistant will be an exceptionally organised individual responsible for assisting with processing high volumes of weekly, timesheet printing and verification, sales invoices and any other administration duties need by the accounts department.

The Accounts Administration Assistant will report to the Accounts Manager

Duties & responsibilities:

The Accounts Administration Assistant position is expected assist in covering a broad area of responsibilities and will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:

  • Printing and scanning time-sheets
  • Handling sales invoices, checking, matching to timesheets and highlighting all discrepancies
  • Payslip distribution
  • Assisting with processing invoices and preparing spreadsheet summaries
  • Assisting with Self Billing online invoice checking
  • Other ad hoc tasks

Person Specification:

Typical qualities of the Accounts administration Assistant will include:

  • Understanding of time management and the workings of a busy office
  • Will have some IT knowledge and be comfortable with emails and data entry
  • Robust interpersonal skills – to deal with other staff and external contacts
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes
  • Bright, adaptable and keen to learn new skills
