It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and this year’s focus is on stress. We’ll be posting content on social media, throughout the week, as this affects so many people…

1 in 4 people are already diagnosed with mental health difficulties but recent research suggests this is more likely to be 1 in 3, due to many feeling they can’t be honest due to how family, friends, employers or colleagues may react.

Any stigma that surrounds mental health and stress-related absence from work, needs to be addressed and mental health difficulties dealt with in and understanding and constructive way. As always that starts with knowledge and awareness.

We will be launching our own initiative to address stress in the workplace shortly. More information coming soon.
