Terms & Conditions of Local Care Force LLP 

By Referring a person and offering their details and personal data you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

DEFINITIONS:

“Agency” shall mean Local Care Force and its affiliates.
“Referrer” shall mean the worker / person who refers a another person for a temporary or permanent role at the agency.
“Referred person” shall mean the person who has been referred by a Referrer
“Referral Scheme” shall mean the “Refer a friend” scheme.
“Employee” Anyone who has a permanent contract of employment at the agency.
“End user” the person, firm, charity or corporate body together with any subsidiary or associated person, firm, charity or corporate body (as the case may be) to whom the Agency Worker is Introduced and
“Assignment” means assignment services to be performed by the Agency Worker for the Hirer for a period of time during which the Agency Worker is supplied by the Employment Business to work temporarily for and under the supervision and direction of the Hirer.,

WHO CAN ENTER?

The Referral Scheme is open to any person who is:
a) aged 18 and over and
b) resident in the United Kingdom.
provided that they are not:
a) an Employee of the agency
b) a family member of an Employee (including but not limited to siblings, parents, cousins, aunts and uncles), or
c) Any agencies or suppliers who Local Care Force trade with on a business to business basis.

BEFORE YOU ENTER:

The Referrer confirms that prior to submitting contact details of the Referred person to Local Care Force the Referrer has obtained the consent of the Referred person for Local Care Force to a) contact the Referred person and b) retain their details for the purposes of providing work-finding services for them.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

The Referred person will need to be be placed on assignment at one of Local Care Force’s end users. Local Care Force cannot guarantee placements, or that the referred person will accept placements offered.

All Referred persons will be required to meet various suitability criteria, these will vary depending on the nature of the work that is being applied for and various other criteria including but not limited to meeting the right to work requirements of the country that the Referred person will be working in. If the Referred person is unable to meet these criteria Local Care Force may not be able to find the Referred person work. Please note that Local Care Force’s decision on this shall be final.

Provided Local Care Force successfully places the Referred person in a assignment with an end user, as a result of the referral by the Referrer within 6 months of the referral being made, and the Referred person completes a probationary period of three months for a permanent role and all other criteria are met you will be eligible for the reward.

If the Referred person undertakes temporary assignments, the Referred person must complete a minimum of 150 hours of work in a 60 day probation period rather than the periods of time detailed above.

At the date of referral, a Referred person must not be a candidate who has registered with and/or been assigned a role through Local Care Force within the previous 12 months.

In the event of the same Referral being introduced by two or more people, the person who introduced the Referral first in time shall be entitled to the vouchers. This decision shall be made by Local Care Force.

REWARD:

Local Care Force will use all reasonable endeavours to supply the referrer with the referral fee within 28 days of the Referred person meeting the criteria within these Terms and Conditions.

Normally payments are made in through PAYE or taxed at source through payroll. If paid by gift card, it will be suitable for use in the UK and Channel Islands only.

An expiry date will apply in relation to the gift card. Please pay attention to this date. Local Care Force do not take any responsibility for any cards that pass the expiry date or if the referred breaches any of the terms and conditions relating to the gift card.

Local Care Force reserves the right to substitute the gift card for another prize of equal or greater value in the event that it is not reasonably practicable to supply the gift card.

If the Referred person is engaged by Local Care Force as a care worker, Support worker, senior care assistant the Referrer shall be rewarded with a gift card worth the agreed amount at the time. We reserve the right to alter the amount at different periods throughout the year.

The above mentioned bonus is a gross amount, if you are paid PAYE or taxed at source, we will ensure that any appropriate taxes are deducted with a net payment paid by bank transfer.

TERM & TERMINATION:

Local Care Force may terminate this Referral Scheme at any time or amend these Terms and Conditions by providing reasonable notice on the Local Care Force website.

GENERAL:

This Referral Scheme shall replace any previous referral schemes that have been promoted by Local Care Force; these schemes may have been promoted using names such as refer a friend or refer a Nurse. Notwithstanding the above any previous schemes may be honoured at Local Care Force’s sole discretion.

Whilst Local Care Force endeavours to ensure the functionality of its website, the internet is not free from errors or defects and accordingly proof of submitting the Referrer’s details will not be accepted as proof of their receipt by Local Care Force.

There is no cash alternative in whole or in part. 

For the avoidance of doubt Local Care Force shall not accept Referred persons that are employed or on assignment with Local Care Force’s existing clients 
The decision of Local Care Force is final in all matters relating to this Referral Scheme and any previous schemes.
