As last week marked 100 years since women got the vote, we thought it was a good time to share some of the amazing achievements of the female entrepreneur behind our business…
- Leanne opened Local Care Force’s doors when she was just 25 and has worked in the Social / Health Care sector for nearly 20 years!
- She’s been a registered manager and registered individual with the CQC for almost 10 years too!
- She started her career at Leeds Mental Health Trust, securing funding to start the first Activity Co-ordinators roles for the trust.
- She’s won the Yorkshire Post’s Young Entrepreneur Award.
- Local Care Force secured a Sunday Times Top 100 Businesses to work for listing in 2017 – achieving the highest-ranking place of ANY Yorkshire business!
- This year Leanne won both the regional and national Inspirational Leader Award from HSBC & Forward Ladies!
- And was invited to the prestigious Women of the Year lunch, alongside Camilla Parker Bowles!
- Just last week, Leanne was listed as one of the rising business stars and business leaders of the future, in Insider’s 42 under 42 list.
- Local Care Force continues to go from strength to strength and, this month, we achieved record hours staff were out working – across all our offices!
- Because of this we’ve invested in some exciting technology for the business… from electric cars and iPads for training to VR and even mobile app development!
